About The Lab

I got into the orthodontic lab business at the age of 15...my dad was an orthodontist. I started out trimming study models and then got into fabricating other appliances. My father trained me in all of the fun appliances and I've been cruising  ever since.   I started my lab business in 1997. It was located by my fathers orthodontic office in Orem Utah. I worked out of that location for 17 years. I have since moved and no longer pay rent.  I have enjoyed working with my hands and getting high on acrylic fumes.

I grew up skiing in the Wasatch  mountains and had a 16 year career as a ski instructor. I started at the Snowbird resort and then moved to the Sundance resort. I learned to ski at a very young age at the Sundance resort so it was like going home.

In my early 20's and into my 30's I got involved in SCUBA diving and became an IDC staff instructor with PADI. Wonderful times.

I have been married to my awesome wife for 28 glorious years and we have 6 spectacular children and 3 wee grandchild. (They are going to read this!) They are the skip in my step, the apple of my eye, the grill to my steak, and let's be honest...the reason I work.
